RobJob, DJ sôi động đến từ những câu lạc bộ nhạc dance San Francisco, Mỹ. Pha trộn giữa 2 dòng nhạc mới và cũ, nhạc của RobJob ảnh hưởng của dòng nhạc từ thập niên 70. Ảnh hưởng từ các DJ nổi tiếng của Pháp như Axwell, Dimitri, funsko và Joey Beltram, nhạc của anh mang âm hưởng của Pháp, làm cho người nghe cảm thấy lay động, lan tỏa, và cuốn hút theo điệu nhạc.

Đam mê âm nhạc hiện đại, anh muốn bày tỏ lòng tôn kính đến những người yêu nhạc thập niên 70 trên sàn nhảy, và anh gọi dòng nhạc của mình là “ Củ trong mới, hoàn toàn mới và sôi nổi”

Được đào tạo từ khoa công nghệ máy tính, DJ RobJob có nhiều lợi thế trong việc theo đuổi nghề nghiệp DJ. RobJob chuẩn bị rất kỉ cho công đoạn ghi âm để chắc chắn có thể chơi liên tục và đáp ứng sự cuồng nhiệt của đám đông. Cùng lúc, anh ta biết tập trung vào thẩm mỹ và cảm xúc để duy trì lửa cho câu lạc bộ. Trình diễn ở những câu lạc bộ hàng đầu tại Mỹ, DJ RobJob lưu diễn tour quốc tế ở Châu Á vào tháng 8.

Được học kèn saxophone từ năm lên 8 tuổi, DJ RobJob chơi cho rất nhiều ban nhạc Jazz hiện đại. Vào năm 18 tuổi, Anh ta bắt đầu thử nghiệm âm nhạc điện tử trên chiếc máy tính đầu tiên của mình. Rất tự nhiên, anh đã hòa âm sáng tạo bằng việc pha trộn âm nhạc với Djing. Không bao lâu sâu, nhằm cải thiện kĩ năng DJ của mình, Rob Job đã theo học DJ nổi tiếng quốc tế Tall Sasha ở học viện DJ4LIFE. Hiện tại DJ RobJob đang thực hiện bộ sưu tập hòa âm tác phẩm của mình, sẽ được phát hành vào cuối năm nay.

DJ RobJob is one of the many exciting new DJs coming out of the vibrant San Francisco dance club scene. DJ RobJob playfully expands ways to blend the new with the old – his musical influences are rooted in the 70s funk and disco sounds, spinning tracks that team these sounds with those across House genres. You’ll certainly hear Funky House and Pumpin’ House in his spins, with a smattering of French, Electro, Deep, and Tech house anthems too. His DJ influences include Axwell, ATFC, Dimitri from Paris, and Joey Beltram. The result is an upbeat, infectious and bouncy set – the kind of dance music that you just can’t stop your body from moving to.

“Today’s dance music is so diverse, but we wouldn’t be here now if it weren’t for the early funk and disco innovators to build upon,” says DJ RobJob. “I love a modern sound that pays homage to the club music that sent seventies hipsters like my parents to the dance floor. Call it the new old, that’s fresh and hot now.”

University trained in computer engineering, DJ RobJob is analytical in his approach to club DJing. He prepares meticulous notes about each track to ensure play set coherence and adaptability to crowd energy. At the same time, he keeps focus on the aesthetic and emotional pull of an engaging club beat, knowing how a great DJ can paint a soundscape that draws us to the dance floor in rhythmic frenzy. Having performed at leading clubs in the USA, DJ RobJob is now focused on expanding his following internationally with a tour in Asia this August.

Trained musically on the saxophone at age eight, DJ RobJob played in several funky jazz bands. In the eighties, he started to experiment with electronic music as he tinkered with his first computer – it was natural to then morph his creative interests into computer generated music, DJing and mixing. DJ RobJob later refined his DJ skills at DJ4LIFE academy under the mentorship of renowned international DJ, Tall Sasha, and recently became a Resident DJ at the school. Today, DJ RobJob is working on his own collection of remix productions, a new release is expected for later this year.
